Why Not Make It A Green Holiday? Give a Climate-Friendly Green Gift of Carbon Offsets This Year

Doing some last minute Christmas shopping and looking for a special gift for that special friend or relative who seems to have everything? Well, why not reduce their carbon footprint and buy them a carbon offset certificate this year? Make it a Green Holiday, find out more here.

Just in case it wasn't obvious, I'm only joking about this....

How about we just Photoshop the certificate and say we did?

Should have the same overall effect.

Good grief, Mark. So much intelligence, so much wonderful data... and then this. What a let down. Disappointed.

there are only 2 reasonable explanations:
1) the company providing this "certificate" is owned by professor Perry
2) it was a joke from professor to put this post here.

I bet 2) is correct ;-)

I'm afraid that any of my family & friends would be offended by such a "gift." If it's something green, I think they'd prefer a ceramic mug.

Why export jobs from your locale by outsourcing your tree planting to another state?

Anyone in Michigan that wants to keep jobs in Michigan can give me $100 and I'll plant a tree in my yard. I'll buy the tree from the locally owned garden shop.

For $50 I will personally restore any carbon footprint by burning a half cord of wood to undo unwanted offsets given in your name.
Merry Christmas!

I'll restore your carbon footprint for $45 and give you a coupon to buy your child a happy meal with a toy in it.

Ahh! Free market competition at work. Ain't it great?

I believe you can cover both sides of the market by growing trees in your yard and later burning them for firewood.

Yes it is Ron H and right now I'm running a Christmas special where I will increase your carbon footprint (just so you can say you pissed off a tree hugger) for the low, low cost of $15 by throwing another tire on the already blazing tire fire I've got going on right now...

One tire not enough?!?!

Well how about 2 tires for $20?

A couple more tires and pretty soon you'll be doing an Al Gore footprint...

Not to worry Professor Mark, the neo-commie GREENTARDS in this idiotic administration have us all covered...

I will take the 2 tire bargain please. But, even at this great price I don't think I can afford an Algore footprint.

...And what I originally poked my head in here to say:

Actually, this is a perfect gift for a Greentard. Useless to them, and yet they'll thank you for a lump of coal in their stocking.
